This hybrid event will be held in the West Dining Room (Room LM-621) on the sixth floor of the James Madison Memorial Building of the Library of Congress and on Zoom.
Have questions about your workplace rights? Join OCWR for a candid panel discussion on how issues like discrimination, harassment, and retaliation are resolved under the Congressional Accountability Act (CAA). The Confidential Advisor, the ADR Program Director, and the Deputy Clerk of the ADR program will walk through the full process—from seeking confidential guidance, to deciding whether to take legal action by filing a claim, to what happens next through voluntary mediation or adjudication. Along the way, panelists will use a myth-versus-fact format to debunk common misconceptions about confidentiality, legal representation, and OCWR’s dispute-resolution process. This session is open to all covered legislative branch employees, and offers a valuable opportunity to better understand your rights and the resources available to you. (12:00 pm to 1:30 pm)
Note: Registration is required for this event. This training is for current employees of the legislative branch of the federal government. Registrants who do not use their .gov email address may have their registration declined.
