Today’s workers are living longer, staying healthier, and retiring later than at any time in history. Despite their abundant experience and important contributions to the workplace, older workers may be subject to age discrimination. This training module introduces the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, its history, and its purpose; examines age discrimination and its different manifestations in the workplace; and discusses age-based harassment in the workplace and the barriers to addressing it.

Note: Registration is required for this event. This training is for current employees of the legislative branch of the federal government. Registrants who do not use their .gov email address may have their registration declined.
