Talia Monkou is a Workplace Rights Specialist in the Education and Outreach Division of the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights (OCWR).
Prior to joining the OCWR in May 2020, Ms. Monkou worked as a judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Most recently, Ms. Monkou worked in state government as a staff attorney in the Office of General Counsel at Bowie State University where she provided state-mandated training on preventing sexual harassment in the workplace to faculty, staff, and students. She earned her law degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and her undergraduate degree from Howard University.
