DECISION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

On February 1, 2016, the Hearing Officer issued a Decision and Order in the above-captioned case, dismissing the complaints filed by Cory Howell (“Appellant”), and finding that the Office of the Architect (“Appellee”) did not violate the Family Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”), the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), or the anti-retaliation provisions of the Congressional Accountability Act (“CAA”).

Having considered the Hearing Officer’s Decision and Order in light of the record, the petitions for review, and the parties’ briefs and filings, the Board finds that the Hearing Officer’s conclusions are supported by substantial evidence and affirms the Hearing Officer’s findings on all issues.

ORDER

For the foregoing reasons, the Board affirms the Hearing Officer’s Decision to dismiss all
claims.

It is so ORDERED.
