Dr. Ganella Smith joined the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights in March 2019 as the Training and Education Project Manager.

She is responsible for developing and providing training to members of Congress, employing offices, and employees to guide understanding of the thirteen workplace rights and accessibility laws incorporated in the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995. A certified master trainer, Dr. Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the prevention of sexual harassment and assault. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of WI – Milwaukee, and both her master’s degree and doctorate from Capella University in Human Services and Public Service Leadership.
