Martin J. Crane

Martin J. Crane is the Executive Director of the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights (OCWR), the office established by the Congressional Accountability Act (CAA) to administer workplace protections in the legislative branch.

Mr. Crane previously served as the OCWR’s Deputy Executive Director, where he was the principal legal advisor to the Board of Directors on cases falling within its appellate jurisdiction. Prior to joining the OCWR, Mr. Crane was Chief Counsel to the Chairman of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. He also worked for more than 15 years in the private sector practicing labor and employment law. 

He received his law degree from the George Washington University Law School and an undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University.
